So i already know that the comments on this one are going to be all kinds of crazy. With some of you, the minute you say the words church, Jesus, or pastor, you instantly shut down and can’t hear anything other than amazing grace. Well it is gone take amazing grave to get Bishop Trotter out of this one. Recently, the famed Bishop of the Sweet Holly Spirit Church posted a picture to Instragram of he and his granddaughter in the bath tub together, what appears to be NAKED, at the same damn time. Check out the pic and give me your thoughts.
For the life of me, I pray he has on swimming trunks. Uggggg i don’t really know how to feel about this one. You really try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I mean, someone else was in the bathroom with them. This is evident because someone snapped this picture. I was going to suggest that perhaps they were playin in a jacuzzi or something, but if that was the case, the little girl would have had on a bathing suite. ughhhh oh boy. I just don’t know what to say.

Ok…where do I begin? First, let me say that I’m an atheist and I’m always the FIRST one to blast preachers and pastors for the dirt they do. Personally, I think 99% of them are fake and in it just for the money. But this picture, come on. Really? Do y’all really think it’s THAT bad? If you are so disgusted by a man taking a bath with his granddaughter, I feel sorry for you. That’s probably why there are so many damn kids out here with babies now. Stop acting like the naked body is sooo taboo, and maybe your kids won’t grow up so fascinated by it. What is wrong with society today that a man can’t even take an innocent bath with his own granddaughter? I saw people posting that they don’t let their children see them naked. Are you serious?! There is something seriously wrong with you if you try to cover up and get all bent out of shape just because your OWN child saw you naked. If you are too uncomfortable in the bath with your child, then maybe you shouldn’t take baths with because you’re probably a pedophile. Who even thinks about that when with their with their own child? I think the man is a fake pastor and a con man, but I don’t (at least not from this picture alone) think that he’s a pedophile for taking a bath with his granddaughter. I let my 3 year old take a bath with his grandmother. If he was a girl, should I not let him take a bath with his grandfather?
One more thing, if it were a boy with his grandmother, would you have the same reaction? If not, that’s called a double standard. Leave the man alone. Some of YOU sound like the perverts to me.

As a woman being molested by different men throughout my life, including family members, I don’t like the way this looks. My dad also dealt with sexual abuse as a child. When it came to us girls, we were NEVER allowed to sit on ANY man’s lap, not even his and he was our father. Personally, I would not let ANY man get in the tub with my children, not even their father.
here are my last 2 cents: I travel internationally… a lot and one day I was in Holland and there was an all out sex scene on regular night time television and said to my friend “wow they really go in on Dutch Television dont they..??? What if your kids see this” He replied ” How many people did you see get shot on television tonight??? How many people a nigh get shot on US televisions shows???? I would rather my child see breasts asses and even frontal nudity or 2 people that love each other making love than constant violence” I sat silent as because he was right. Look if you claim it’s innocent why did it have to be posted for the world to see and judge. He; at his age; SHOULD know that 1st it’s TOTALLY inappropriate and should NOT be done no matter the scenario, and 2nd that people in general are judgemental and will have something to say. The little girl should not be able to waltz in and see you in the tub PERIOD. I only rarely put my newborn to 3 month old in the tub or shower with me to save time if we had to go somewhere, once he was able to sit up he was in his bath seat solo i say that to say she is TOO old to be in the tub with any adult.

Why did he post these pictures. Why not a picture of them in a swimming pool. This is a small confined tub it looks like. Something is not right about this. Don’t post things that gives any room for adversity. Go to the beach. People who are wrong don’r even realize it. Keep him away from children!

Oh hell no…this is NOT ok!! There is no reason why a grown ass man should be in the tub with a small child, ever!!! I don’t give a damn what the relationship is, it is just NOT ok. I never took baths with my nephews when they were small, for the simple fact, children, especially at that little girl’s age are curious and they do explore their bodies and yours and will ask questions. I am the mother of a 10 yr old girl. I am disgusted.
I don’t see the harm in it although it does make me a bit uncomfortable and I would not allow my daughter to bathe with any adult other than myself. First off, it would have looked some type of way if someone had found this pic on Trotter’s laptop in his private files and posted it on the internet or something. However, he posted the pic on instagram himself. Secondly, there was someone else present. Third, the two appear to be very happy, content, and comfortable in the picture. Also, there’s no reason to conclude with absolute certainty that he was naked. I’ll admit that THAT would be awkward. Again, there’s no sign of discomfort in the girl whatsoever. I’m not being naive. I just feel sometimes we’re quick to jump to conclusions based off of preconceived notions about pastors and bishops and their relationship with children. Stuff like this shouldn’t always cause such a stir, unless warranted for obvious reasons.
