Bay-Bay when I tell you that Evelyn Lozada has hired the best crisis management team that money can buy. I am feeling some kinda way. Evelyn has found a way to weasel her a** into being the face of domestic violence after she has whooped just about every a** on BasketBall Wives for 3+ seasons. I’m so over it. I get it though. Protect the income and the brand at all cost. Evelyn and her camp have now worked their magic and landed her a role on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) working with life coach and spiritual advisor Iyanla Vanzant to “fix her life”. GET INTO IT.
I’m so over Oprah I don’t know what to do. If this move isn’t exploitation at its finest, i don’t know what is. Oprah, who once would not touch celebrities like the Kardashian’s, 50 cent, Rihanna, and now Evelyn Lozada, seems to be stacking her cards pop culture’s elite in an effort to pile on ratings. Oprah, you think you nickel slick, but i got yo penny change! I’m on to you heffa.
After 41 days of wedded bliss, Evelyn was thrust yet again in the public eye for a physical altercation. This time, it wasn’t her doing the bullying. Allegedly Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson head butted Evelyn after getting into a heated argument over a receipt for condoms she found in his car. Iyanla Vanzant is now supposed to be helping Evelyn find her “inner peace”. You want to help her find her “inner peace” Iyanla? Send the bish a pair of red bottoms and a check and i’m sure she will sleep just fine.
I’m not saying that Chad did not head-but her. I am saying that Evelyn’s behavior post the incident is not indicative of someone who was ever madly in love with their husband. Most people take time off, go on vacation, or retreat to a safe emotional place. Hell, most women go bail their husbands out after their emotions have settled. In my opinion, in an effort to salvage her image and capitalize on the situation, Evelyn under the counsel of someone else i’m sure, headed straight for the media and big networks. Some wife. Let’s not act like this whole incident isn’t good press for Evelyn’s book that has just been released called “The Inner Circle: The Wives Association” I ain’t mad with her though. With him being let go from The Miami Dolphins, I guess mama figured she had to find a way to keep her paper coming in real steady. Go in Evelyn and let have!
