Half of Xscape Performs at SoSo Def 20 Year Reunion Concert – How Did They Do? [video]
This past week Jermaine Dupree held a fundraiser 20 year So So Def reunion concert here in Atlanta. No tea no shade, the only real reason why i would have been remotely interested in this would have been to see Xscape perform. Everyone else on the roster I honestly could take or leave. I had known well before the concert date that Kandi & Tiny would not be in attendance. All tea all shade, I didn’t go to the concert because Jermaine Dupree and his camp pulled it. They offered the media press passes to work the red carpet, but didn’t offer us a single ticket to see the show. Let me get this straight, you want me to stand outside and interview people, take pictures, and other, yet I can’t even get a ticket in the nose bleed section? NO GAWD. Even B.E.T. gave us 2 tickets. Anyway, all that said, I wasn’t at the concert. However, videos are beginning to surface of various performance. Check out the Scott Sisters holding it down for Xscape

oh and one of the best R&B groups of the 90′s and they shit on its legacy….TIRED #members should be ashamed in the end they will all have to acknowledge XSCAPE its their musical root #THE TREE GOT-DAMMIT
They kill it as usual –this could have been GREAT instead of just GOOD, had certain people shown up….Did you hear the crowd….this takes me back to my High School Days….and hood days. #90′s R&B history it should have been respected if for nothing else.

Tiny and Kandi could have come and just not performed. They could have introduced the Sisters and had a seat. Even if they all hate each other on the low they still should have considered the fans….this is the difference between our groups and others. We never find out they hated each other until memoirs come out after their death or after touring for 40 years getting that Money!
Im sorry, Tocha’s day is over..she has to run down out of every note..its so weak. She was good back in the day..
Tamika can still sing, and quiet as its kept, she had the strongest voice, but could be pitchy at times. She doesnt have as much power, but she’s got much better training.

These two should do a comeback duo by together. I hate Kandi’s singing voice and aint nobody got time for 4 grown women to be on stage as a “girl group” like they OMG Girls… lol
Tiny was my favorite and I always liked Kandi, the sisters I thought were decent back in the day but didn’t care for them because I thought they were lead singer-hogs, who rarely let the others share the spotlight and Kandi’s brother is the one who put them on to Jermaine. Plus, he knew Kandi wasn’t coming and was ok with that choice. Kandi is not the problem, the problem was Latocha who for some reason had a grudge on Kandi spreading lies about her.

THEY WENT OFF! They sounded good! No shade here!THey should stop trying to focus on Xscape and form a sisters duo. I think that would be hot. And I was hoping they’d perform Understanding and they did so I’m good!
I don’t know what everyone was hearing cause that shit was awful. They over sang, the runs were off and they couldn’t catch it to close the runs properly. Now, Kandi and Tiny should have come to just do one song so they can sound terrible as a group.
Wait…don’t put anything on Tiny, because according to the interview on V-103 with Latocha, everyone is cool with Tiny, Kandi is the problem and Latocha told Tiny, if they all 4 don’t show up, she didn’t have to come, they will do a sister act.
Xscape & Total are my only 2 fav groups ever. It hurts me to see that Kandi & Tiny couldn’t show up & do this show with the rest of the ladies for us fans. I mean Xscape was their stepping stone & now they are flauging smh however the Scott sisters showed up & showed out. Love them to da core

I wish all these old groups would stop trying to make a come back and bringing up old drama. Just leave your legacy in tact and move on. See SWV and their 1 week come back before everybody forgot about them again. I swear the internet and reality shows make you see a side of aging celebs that you really don’t need to see. I thought they sounded just okay. Kandi can barely sing. She need to write and that’s it.
Aside from the members who need a check, I think the fans are the ones who need to move on and let it go.

They sound really good. I didn’t think it would sound so good with the other ladies not there.
I enjoyed it! LaTocha’s voice was always the best in my opinion.
To be honest, I never really was a Kandi fan and Hosewives proves why! Tiny you alright but you don’t have the vocals like the two sisters, they did an awsome job and shows who the ADULTS ARE IN THE SITUATION!
