‘In Living Color’ Revival No Longer In The Works – Awww Damn
I guess some things are better left alone. So much for wishful thinking. You guys remember the rumors that started circulating about a year ago about there being a new In Living Color in the making? Well, don’t get too excited because it doesn’t look like it is going to happen any more. Catch these T’s
Reportedly, after filming several hours of footage, FOX has decided to scrap the idea.
According to Vulture, sources have confirmed that while hours worth of footage were filmed, network executives were not too thrilled with the final product, which was set to “feature a new cast of fresh, young talent, as well as musical performances by special guests.”
During a recent interview with Crave Online, Damon Wayans Jr. opened up on his involvement with the now defunct project.
“I did a couple of guest spots there,” he admitted. “I don’t know what’s going on with that show but I know that I nailed that s***. I nailed all my parts.”
I’m not going to lie. I’m a tad bit tore up on the inside. I was looking forward to seeing Miss Banita Butrell. lo oh well.

I don’t c y this couldn’t work especially if the wayans were heavily involved. I wasn’t thinking it would b better than the original but it would b nice to have something like this on I guess if its not a reality show its a no.
Say what u want but I’m salty. So many comedic greats started there and as long as the project was led by Keenan I knew it would be good. Damn too bad, we need this type of laughter right about now.
Well I for one am happy. Unless they Wayans family was doing the revamping of the show, I am not in favor of messing with a old classic. Most of the remakes of movies and old game shows are not as good as the original.
Sad face….. That would have been dope!
