So months ago, it broke that Miss Mona Scott Young was shopping around a Love and Hip Hop: LA spinoff over at VH1 headquarters.  At the time, we weren’t too sure whom producers wanted to fill the shoes of Hosaline and Stevie J, or the made-for-TV drama that is Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly.

Hell, if you ask me, I’m really not trying to feature any girls looking for a recording contract and lacking the obvious…talent.

However, producers have reportedly confirmed a few names that have us all but excited for the foolery that is sure to come.

Catch these T’s

We know how Mona Scott Young is generally tight-lipped when it comes to confirming cast members and story lines for the Love and Hip Hop franchise.

But Chile, apparently some producers didn’t get that memo. Producers reportedly confirmed to TMZ that singer Brooke Valentine, radio DJ Yesi Ortiz, rapper Hazel-E, and video vixen Bria Myles have all signed on to film.

Wait, who!? Now correct me if I’m wrong, but Brooke Valentine hasn’t had a hit since 2005 with “Girlfight right? We all saw what happened with Traci Steele when VH1 tried to book a DJ. For the rest of these girls, I’m not particularly seeing it for them either.

Miss Mona hasn’t given the official word yet, so that gives us a glimmer of hope…right?

Thoughts?

  1. Well I’m HERE for it. I’ve always loved Brooke Valentine since day one…and she CAN sing. Her mixtape she released last year was great! This show will be a great platform for her return to music.

  2. The Game posted on IG that he was in a meeting with Mona about LHHLA, so maybe he’s going to join the cast. Nobody wants to see Brooke Valentine nor the rest of those nobody’s. Chile Cheese!

  3. I understand Mona is trying to ride the VH1 wave while she can, BUT DAMN! LHHNY is flopping like a dying fish week after week. ATL is pushing its luck. These folks names aint ringing no bells for LA. Enough is enough!

  4. Im too pissed !! I really wanted to be a part of the new franchise I might not be known but i had a fresh new storyline…smh

  5. Well in Brooke Valentine´s defense.. Ummmm when was the last time Joe Budden or Peter Gunz had a hit?? And everyone else on these shows are a bunch of nobodys that most people haven´t heard of til the show.. So I see it fit.. But I don´t want another L&HH.. It´s already overkill
