K. Michelle may be through with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, but she is not through with the franchise all together. It’s no secret that Love & Hip Hop New York season 3 did not perform as well as Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Trust & believe, when ratings aren’t as high as the network would prefer, somebody’s a$$ is getting fired. Love & Hip Hop New York is being recasted. Who’s staying, who’s leaving, who’s joining?. Catch these T’s.
It is a no brainer that Joe Budden & Tahairy are staying on the show. It is also reasonable to assume that Yandy will remain as well. I have received confirmation that Consequence and Jenn are definitely gone. No word on who else may not be returning. In addition, K. Michelle is joining the New York cast. K. Michelle was already in the process of moving to New York. Considering her relocation and the fact that she’s damn near fought or cussed out everybody on the Atlanta cast, it only makes sense that K. Michelle join the New York cast. Let us not forget that K. Michelle was originally being looked at for the LHHNY before she was thrown on LHHATL.
I’ve caught wind that along with the reorg of LHHNY the show will be changing directions quite a bit. I’ve been told that the show is going to be geared towards highlighting the women really handling their business and focus more so on their careers and entrepreneurial efforts.
In addition to to joining the cast of Love & Hip Hop New York, K. Michelle has also lander her own spin off. Tentatively, the network is toying with the idea of an urban “cheaters” type show with K. Michelle being the host. Interesting…
Often times you know celebrities can’t talk about certain things but they like to speak in code and allude to things. K. Michelle recently did an interview with ABC New Radio and alluded to much of what I just shared with you. She couldn’t give y’all the real T, but don’t worry because I did. Check it out:
Confirms She’s Leaving L&HHATL, Hints She’s On Another VH1 Show:
“If I know something is unhealthy for me why keep doing it. I’m not saying that I’m not dealing with other ventures with VH1 and Mona [Scott Young, the creator]. …You might see me in Love & Hip Hop New York. You never know.”
On Her Relationship with Mimi After Their Fight in NYC:
“You know I recently spoke with Mimi — I can’t give the show away — but I did apologize to her because at no means is it ever appropriate to slap somebody. Especially with my mom being there and that being my first sold out show at B. B. King’s and that’s very monumental for an artist and for you to come to my event; I don’t do that. But I will take the responsibility…I should’ve just walked away from Mimi instead of making her smell the flowers.”
Hints Mimi and New Boyfriend Niko Broke Up (He Wasn’t at L&HHATL Premiere Party):
“I can’t tell you that. You know I’m always right in my beliefs. You know, I’m very intuitive to things and to people. Yeah. That’s for you guys to find out; for her to tell.”
“I have no respect for her. I hope her child doesn’t have the same morals as her and her husband. …The world is already messed up enough. We don’t even need another seed that has no morals, no nothing.”
On New Castmate DJ Tracy Steele:
“She’s an opportunist. I have no problem with this lady but I can tell an opportunist when I see one. She’ll do whatever she’s told to stay on that camera.”
Why She’s Leaving L&HHATL:
“I think it’s a lot of jealousy between my cast members, and they can’t say it’s not. It’s not my fault that God didn’t give them no talent. That’s not my fault that you didn’t take your platform and do something else with it.”
