The Real Housewives of Atlanta are keeping all the lawyers in Atlanta paid. Mr. Lawyer man, please draw up the paperwork. Ohh and can you please add a line that says If Mama Joyce chokes on a chicken bone that Todd can not put her out on the street. I know good and dog on well that non of you remotely thought Kandi was going to enter a situation with any human being and leave herself wide open? Chile, my girl did not amass her fortunes being dumb! At any rate, Kandi swung by The Breakfast club to dish on RHOA, “The Prenup”, and her upcoming wedding special on Bravo. Catch these T’s
Well it’s not going to be on the Housewives’. They’re talking to us about doing it as a special.
I’m not against it. As long as the prenup is in place, which we haven’t finished doing that part yet. Then I don’t really care if we did it big or if we just do something small and simple.
It’s an insurance policy. You know, you only pull it out if a disaster happens. So when people get mad and upset, they don’t think as clearly as when they did when they were all in love. So sometimes people do things when they’re hurt, they want to hurt you, or you want to hurt them. So you know, we want to avoid all that and hopefully we don’t even have to use it.
For a new reality show, they’re not making anything. If they are getting anything, it may be like $2,500 an episode to $5,000 at the most. At most times, say for instance the women who started out on our show, they didn’t get anything for their first year. They got like $5,000 for the while season just for the use of their house. When I first came on, they didn’t really hardly pay me anything either. A lot of those shows do not pay a lot of money. And that’s what I say to people. Don’t go on the show thinking you’re going to make a big lick off of the salary.
Think more so about…it’s your informercial. How are you going to make this show sell your business, your product or whatever. (If you don’t have a business) then the only thing you’re to do is just make money off the appearances. You see these celebrities doing appearances at clubs. You can [get] a grip off that. The first year of the show, I think I made $200,000 within a month or month in a half. If you’re going to go on a reality show, go into with a purpose. Have a business. Don’t just be happy to be famous. Go in there with your plan already put together.
