Y’alls favorite reality tv pimp Mona Scott-Young made her way to Wendy Williams to talk all things Love & Hip Hop and to give the world a little more insight into her past business life and her present day personal live.
While sitting on the couch with Wendy, Mona gave the full run down on how she transitioned from being a music manager into television. Mona, who’s been in the business for over 20 years says she jumped ship (music business) just in time before it sank and got on board the tv train just in time to build the super lucrative franchise that is Love & Hip Hop.
When asked does she feel guilty or responsible for the images that Love & Hip Hop sometime portrays of Black women, Mona answered no. She explains that being in the music business, this stuff really happens. She went on to explain that Love & Hip Hop is a show that highlights a very small segment of the population where these experiences are common place.
Lastly Mona discussed how the roles are reversed in her home and how her husband is a stay at home dad.
It was a pretty good interview. This was Mona’s first time doing the Wendy Williams show…
