Alright now, Beyonce has really taken this Queen tittle y’all have given her just a lil too far. In her newest song ‘Bow Down’, she flat out says “Bow Down Bitches”. Yes Gawd!! I’m gagging. Beyonce took it to the gutter on this one. Hearing Beyonce curse is a little new for me, but I think I might be able to get into it.

I think the song is PURE TRASH. Very ghetto and trifling. Anyone who is pumping their fist is apparently trying to live vicariously….yes, she’s made millions and such…but not under the guise of some “hoodrat”(need I name names?) Sooo, what about all the so-called class, sophistication and elegance that landed her in the White House? Was it all a charade? Did it really mean nothing for The President of the United States to view her as worthy enough for his daughters to idolize? At the end of the day, there are WAY more people that will love this song than people who don’t. I love that she’s finally giving you the side that you don’t see. She’s been hood from jump, but hood didn’t work when she was in a girl group trying to get a deal. She is established enough as an artist to do what the eff she wants now and she wanted to give you a taste of how she reps her city. I say be out Bey and rep yo shit. Once the video comes out and it gets radio play, I’m sure there will be a few of you who don’t like it now playing this and getting your life later.

I get that she was probably just having fun with this track (I hope its just an opener/teaser or something) but I think its beneath her to make music like this. Its a regression, actually. If this is a taste of what we should expect from the album then it seems like she hasn’t grown musically.
We all know Bey is running the game. No need to boast/proclaim it. That’s kinda tacky for an artist of her caliber. The chopped/screwed theme was I guess paying homage to her HTown roots, but to me it seems like she’s trying to sound like whats hot right now when she should be living up to her reputation and making a timeless album, cuz truthfully I dont think she’s made one yet.
With that said, the beat is absolutely sick and its kind of refreshing to hear Bey get a little gangsta lol. But I hope that it won’t be consistent throughout the album because that would be disastrous.

She’s getting everyone primed for what’s to come. ’4′ got a luke-warm response until she added the visuals and the performances and then the crowd goes wild; body rolling and twerking and selling their first born for concert tickets. So, I will reserve judgement until she reveals what she’s really trying to do.
