New Video: Tamar Braxton LOVE AND WAR
Well well well. The time is upon us. The music video for Tamar Braxton’s Love and War is finally here. I must say that I was really excited when i began watching the video. By the end of it i had kind of tuned out. The video is really nice from a videography standpoint. I think the lack of a plot is what caused my attention to move to my iphone and away from the video. By two minutes in, I was kind of over watching her sing in random places of her house and on the beach. Non the less, the video is good. Check it out.

I think with this song everyone was looking for Her to give them ol Toni Braxton/ u mean the world to me/ type of T.. Not too much sexy just enough drama.. I can say I was slightly disappointed with the video myself.. But on the words of The Doll “she did that baby” with the song… So Tamar probably is going to let her haters be her motivators and give us a little more spicy the next time

I would have rather seen scenes from her and Vince’s real life than her and some man she has no real connection to with this particular song. It seems like it would hit home more with people who really do go thru things in their relationships.

Admittedly I turned away from the video. BUT my behind is also at work, so I couldn’t be all zombie-fied at the screen lol! I love the song. I like that the video focused on her & the song, not so much visual that you miss the music. Great directing!

The purpose of this video was to OBLIVIOUSLY show the true talents of Tamar, the singer, song writer NOT the crazy “get cho life” chick side of her❗❗❗if folk noticed, it was all done in black & white, not displaying the male characters face for that exact fact! To put your view on HER & HER SINGING voice, not the surroundings so to that I say, GREAT job to her and the creative director❤❗❗❗

I thought the video was clean and classy and didnt over power the song. Showcased a softer Tamar. She’s got another single Hot Sugar to get it poppin’. I think this song did great to be the 1st single and a ballad which is rare.
I appreciated it. I feel it was a homage to ol school classic R&B video’s (because it has a ol school R&B feel) and a flashback to black and white home movies etc. Loved her hair and classic look. The song is powerful enough I still get a chill when she hits the high note!

Tamar has so much more to come. This ballad showed her talent. I’m sure her funky, crazy self will come thru soon. S/N: I’m glad her “look” was calmed down.

I was expecting a cute scenario with a guy like maybe a scene from their wedding, then settling at home and capturing arguments/love making. I was disappointed!
No mam! This video was giving me boring T’s! She was flipping her hair in the sand for about 85% of video! I’m not sure who the creative director was but they failed! The video and the song do not mesh. I was bored after .5 seconds. I will just continue to listen to the song w/out the video.

First time in a long time I have loved her hair. I thought she would’ve come out with something more upbeat for her first single though. Her voice is good but I was looking forward to something that brought out my wannabe ratchet side lol. Nonetheless get it Tamar! Make ur dreams come true!!!

Yal are HATER’S! Tamar has what most artist wish they had. She has pipes and a team. Her hair is laid like #SHEWON. The video in black and white was a cool concept. The video wasn’t flashy because it was about her talent. Tamar can sang and the bottom line is I could listen to her cd. I LOVE Bey, but Tamar is her closest competition, just wait.

I thought it was going to look like Lisa Stansfield’s “All Woman” video or Karyn White’s “Superwoman.” something with flair! (like Olivia’s read of Edison last night!) She could have kept all that beach and tub action.

That was my exact sentiments! When listening to the song I see shots of a couple eating diner, watching tv on the couch, etc. All we saw of a man was abs, hands, and the back of his head. The video did not connect to the song sufficiently. I’m really disappointed…Did Vince’s budget not cover someone like Hype Williams or whoever?
