Catch these T’s. So you guys are well aware of the fact that Love & HipHop Atlanta was NEVER supposed to be based around Stevie J, Mimi, and Joseline right? As a matter of fact, Joseline was not even a member of the original cast. Quiet as its kept, Joseline was added to the show right before filming started as a result of some other shakeups in the cast. Its no secret that Diamond formerly of Crime Mob was in fact filming, and the shows main plot was going to surround Diamond, Lil Scrappy, Mama Dee, and Erika. Well Diamond threw a wrench in the game when while filming, she went to the restroom, had a “Come To Jesus” meeting with herself, walked off the set and was never seen again. The show had to go on, and it did. However, what is meant to be will be, because it is looking like Mona will get the story she sought after in the beginning after all.
Soulja Boy has reportedly confirmed that he and Diamond are joining the cast of Love & HipHop for season 2. Ohhh boy, these two additions alone add a very interesting dynamic to the show and I am sure along with that will be a whole lot of drama. So we all know Scrappy dumped Erika for Diamond, Diamond dumped Scrappy for Souldja Boy, and Scrappy came crawling back to Erika. In the midst of all of this, Momma Dee went HAM on the radio, stating that she was going to woop Diamonds a** whenever she saw her. Thats years worth of drama in a nutshell. This here drama is what the original plans for Love & HipHop season 1 was supposed to be all about. Well looks like we will get this here after all. Ohh yeah, did I fail to mention that Shay”Buckey” Johnson will be back for season 2 as well? Yes Gawd Hunty, this right here is going to be GOOD.
What do these new additions do for the Stevie J, Mimi, Joseline storyline? Honestly, I hope it pushes it out of the main story spot, and into more of a side story role. With a dynamic this interesting, I’m willing to go out on a limb and say I can guarantee that it pushes the freaky 3-some love affair into a more supporting role. Rightfully so, it should. I for one, as much of a Love & HipHop fanatic I am, is OVER Joseline, Mimi, and Stevie. After an entire season, and post season of going round and round, I am over Cheesy Stevie and the passengers on his bus.
So you ask, “Dineva, If the main story is no longer going to be centered around Stevie, Joseline, and Mimi, what will Joseline’s storyline be considering that she was the breakout star of the show”. I’ll honestly have to answer that question with “I don’t know.” Surely it can’t be about her singing career or lack there of. If I had to guess, and considering how Stevie J & Joseline stay boo’d up in pics, I think Joseline’s storyline will have much to do with her and Stevie going off being in a relationship and Joseline having to deal with the likes of Che Mack and other women sleeping with “her man”. I think Mimi will most likely break away from those two and run the ohh so predictable story of moving on from Stevie, dating other guys and searching for love.
All in all, I must say that Monday nights have not been the same without Love & HipHop Atlanta. I really do miss the show. The good bad and the ugly. Trust and believe The Doll will be all over the breaking developments as the cast gets ready to start back filming this month and we prepare for another successful season.
