Tis the season for all the kids to graduate high school. Tis is also the season for everyone to be who the hell they are. Notorious B.I.G. & Faith Evans’s son Christopher Wallace Jr. recently graduated high school. He and Faith both posted pictures of their momentous occasion on social media, but one particular photo is garnering a little more attention than the rest.
DISCLAIMER, Christopher’s sexual orientation (whatever that might be), should not overshadow his accomplishment, BUT…
The above photo begs the question is Christopher Wallace Jr. gay? You’ve got to admit that it is a little ironic that his father for all intents and purposes was a gangster rapper and this picture defies what that lifestyle is all about. KUDOS to Faith Evans for A) not allowing her son to buy into all that gangster bullsh!t just because of who his father was, and B) raising her son in such a manner that he feels free and comfortable to express himself however the hell he sees fit, gay, straight, or indifferent.
Faith hasn’t taken too kindly to some of the banter and had some choice words for blogger Sandra Rose. Check out what Faith had to say as well as other pictures from the gradation Continue reading
It goes without saying that Tweet has one of the most unique voices of our time. Undoubtedly, mama can sing. That being said and Tweet being on her way to Unsung, it was a no brainer that Tweet would be a viable candidate for R&B Divas Atlanta. Well production felt the same way and began courting Tweet. They met with Tweet on multiple occasions but for whatever reason there was no real thunder there. One person close to production said “quiet as its kept, they met with her… And apparently they’re still sleep from the boredom”. Another source said “we actually love Tweet, she seems a bit guarded though.” Well I ran into a friend of Tweet’s that had a few insights on the situation. Catch these T’s Continue reading
Listen, you can’t win when you’re dirty chile. God don’t like ugly and he ain’t to crazy about pretty either. I knew when this tour line-up was announced that it was nothing more than a bunch of f&ckery & foolishness. All along I had been calling this the friends, family, and favoritism tour. No tea no shade, but this tour line up was birthed from a shady place. First off, Faith continues to shade the sh!t out of the other R&B Divas by positioning herself as Beyonce and the others are Kelly & Michelle. Little does she know, we the people love her voice, but we ain’t checking for her like that. Mama needs to shrink this picture and fall back in line with Nicci & Keke. Secondly, after how Kelly Price rubbed the entire planet the wrong way with her grandstanding on R&B Divas LA, she couldn’t sell a box of Girl Scout cookies yet alone a concert ticket. Dawn Robinson does not have enough material to sing at a PTA meeting. Envogue was a quartet, what the hell is Dawn going to do, sing all four parts at the same damn time? Chile Bye! Not to mention with her car smoking on the side of Sunset Boulevard, we know she wasn’t making it to rehearsal and probably sounds like trash. Nicci GilBIRDS ass! Chile I done slayed Nicci enough in the past that I’m not even gone spend any time on her. I’ll just say this, much like Dawn, how the hell did Nicci make the roster? What is she going to sing? Keke Wyatt, I like keke, so i’m not going to go in on her. However, this tour had me side eyeing keke big time. I’m going to leave it at that.
There is trouble in paradise. According to Faith Evans and Ticketmaster, there wont be any tour! I wonder why! Catch these T’s Continue reading
Are y’all ready for season 2 of
Rough & Buff R&B Divas? Yes Gawd Hunty! After all the mess that has been going on around town I am. Bae-Bae, R&B Divas season one was ok, but my woman’s intuition is telling me that season 2 is going to be so much better. I think the divas along with the production folk over at TvOne got their hands on the Shaunie O’neal & Mona Scott-Young handbooks on “How To Pimp A Bish.” I’ve got confirmation that this season will be packed full of drama, mess and all the other unfortunate ratchetness you need to have a successful reality television show.
I am loving the promo picture. Looks like R&B divas was able to garner enough ratings to secure some more advertisers or higher advertising rates, thus giving them a larger budget. IT SHOWS. I must say the ladies look really nice. There is one of them up there that I am questioning what the hell she has on, but I’ll give her a pass for right now. I’m sure she’ll find a way to dig her own hole once the show starts. Angie Stone and Latocha Scott we see y’all. Check out the promo and catch these T’s Continue reading
“Remember where you got this Tea from FIRST” ~ Funky Dineva
Nessa Girl!! Ive been holding on to this tea for a little minute and I finally have mustered up the energy to spill it. You may not believe it, but stating facts while throwing shade is an art that can drain the life out of of you. OK. Here we go. So it is no secret that Nikki Gilbert got axed from R&B Divas. I told you about that some time ago. [Its OFFICIAL, Nicci Gilbert FIRED From R&B Divas] Long story short, the folks over at TvOne conducted some marketing surveys and 95% of respondents stated that they did not like Nicci Gilbert. I think the general consensus is that people really didn’t care for Nicci’s attitude on the show. Continue reading
Ok I really had to debate if I was going to write this post. I don’t like to start no mess where there isn’t any, but I am honestly feeling some kind of way about Faith Evans being the ONLY face pictured on the R&B Divas Album Cover. While I on it, I might as well go a step further and let it be known that I have major issues with the ENTIRE set up of the R&B Divas plot. I am so not feeling this fabricated ass story line of Faith corralling all these women together to put together a tribute album in Whitney Houston’s honor. This is some major BS. Here is the real scoop. Catch these T’s. Continue reading
