Chile, ish just got real. Not only has Chad “Ochocinco” been let go from his main source of income, Evelyn Lozada has too. Vh1 has sent out a statement announcing that the show has been cancelled. The statement read:
“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.”
I’ll be the first person to admit that I thought this whole thing was a PR stunt in the beginning. Since this story has started to develop, I have quickly changed my mind. I now think that this is an unfortunate series of events that have snowballed into something unimaginable due to 2
media whores, their egos, and their constant desire for attention. My Momma always said, “you want it you got it.” Their constant desire for wanting to remain front page news has written them a check, that due to the loss of both their jobs, neither one of their butts will be able to cash.
I wonder if this is going to spill-over and result in Evelyn being fired from BasketBall Wives as well? It looks as if this reality tv bubble may be on the horizon of bursting. I’m not trying to be funny, but this is what you get when you play with GAWD and the sanctity of marriage. Let us not forget, can’t a nan blogger, reporter, or average citizen find a nan marriage license/certificate in Miami-Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County, Monroe county, or an other surrounding South Florida county. “Chile they ain’t bit more married”. I guess 1 piece of good did come out of their lie. Instead of a lengthy divorce played out in the public and tying up the courts, these two can just go their separate ways. I can picture Ochocinco using one of Bernaine’s classic lines from Waiting To Exhale, “get your s***, get your s***, and get out”.
Trust, The Doll does plan to stay on top of this story as it continues to develop. – Yes GAWD

The Anti-Intellect Blog
I’m convinced that VH1 thinks we are stupid. The network has announced that it has pulled the Ev & Ocho show Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations.” Um… seriously? This coming from a network
that has all but built its reality TV brand around violence, primarily that of female-on-female. VH1 is not concerned about violence, or does it take it seriously. How can a network that gleefully features violence on shows such as Mob Wives (Karen vs Dria), Basketball Wives (Ev! vs Jen, Royce), etc expect to be taken seriously about violence? This is how patriarchy dupes us into thinking it cares about violence when it really only cares about perpetuating violence and sexism. Male-on-female violence is bad but male-on-male and female-on-female is all fine and dandy? That is not the mentality of someone who is serious about violence. Sorry.
